A Little About Me

Self-owned and operated, LL Imagery took flight in 2016 founded by me, Laurie Lyng, with a camera in hand and a deep appreciation for the stories that live inside the spaces we create and inhabit. Today, my work blends photography and aerial technology in a way that feels authentic, elevated, and meaningful.

Like many, I started out offering family and portrait photography but everything changed the day I picked up a drone. In 2018, I earned my FAA Part 107 certification, and that opened up an entirely new creative and professional path. Living on the coast and surrounded by natural beauty, I quickly saw how powerful aerial imagery could be in real estate. Since then, I’ve continued to explore new tools and technologies in the field, always inspired by the evolving ways visuals can make an impact. In 2020, I took the leap into full-time real estate photography, and it’s been the most rewarding chapter yet.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences from St. Edward’s University with continued studies in GIS. That mix of psychology, mapping, and technology weaves into how I see and capture the world always with curiosity and care.
What I Bring Into Focus
My Drive

My Family, My Foundation

Behind every great image is a life full of inspiration and for me that comes from home. Most importantly, I’m a wife to my husband Chris and a proud mom to our three children: Lyla, Lily, and Lawson. They’re my daily reminder of what matters most and why creating something others can feel proud of will always be at the heart of what I do.

Beyond the Frame

Outside of the lens, I stay deeply connected to my community. I organize a local creative network called CC Creators, where we host meetups for photographers, videographers, artists, entrepreneurs, and small business owners to share ideas and build each other up. I also serve as President of the Board of Directors for CCBMX, where we are working together with the city to bring a BMX Race track back to the South Texas Region.
